About the exhibition

Finding Heaven in Hellhole Canyon will be on view in conjunction with Endangered: Exploring California’s Changing Ecosystems, curated by Danielle Susalla Deery. These exhibitions celebrate the natural beauty of California, while bringing greater awareness to the myriad of environmental issues in the state such as land development, climate change, endangered flora and fauna, habitat fragmentation, and pollution.

The Finding Heaven in Hellhole Canyon exhibition seeks to celebrate the beauty of open space, and hopes to serve as a catalyst for guests to think about their relationship to California’s natural environment.

This is a juried show that will include some familiar artists and those you may not be acquainted with so far.

A list of participating artists will be available late fall 2019. Stay tuned for more details.
