Supporters and Friends

County-wide our open space is disappearing. Plants, animals and humans need space to roam and recreate.

Will you donate to help us conserve vital open space for nature and people?

Information about our stratgic conservation plan can be found at our Open Space Strategic Plan. This ongoing campaign helps us to purchase environmentally important land to expand and protect the Preserve. Every little bit helps. Thank you!

Environmental Education

The Friends sponsors quarterly meetings where programs on topics of environmental concern are offered to the public. We also publish a quarterly newsletter that provides information on protecting the environment, our local habitats and wildlife.

Past programs have brought speakers on special topics such as mountain lions, the care and management of oak trees, native plant gardening, fire ecology and recycling, to name just a few. Our meetings are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. See our Newsletters link for more information. Please join us as we gather together for community and the environment!
